What
is Grizzly Salmon Oil™?
All-natural
salmon oil
Grizzly Salmon Oil™ is derived only from wild Alaskan Salmon. The
salmon oil naturally retains its balanced blend of valuable fatty acids
and is further protected by adding all-natural rosemary extract. It contains
inherent antioxidants and traces of vitamins that naturally occur in the
salmon. Our all-natural product will not interfere with your dog's intake
of vitamins from other sources.
The right Omega-3 fatty acids are from fish!
Grizzly Salmon Oil supplies a daily supplement rich in EPA and DHA - the
right omega-3 fatty acids. The recommended daily dose of Grizzly Salmon
Oil yields approximately 500 to 2500 milligrams of these important fatty
acids, depending on your dog's weight. Your dog's metabolism uses these
nutrients immediately without any prior conversion. Plant-based omega-3
fatty acids, such as those found in flax seed, must be converted by your
dog's body prior to use. This conversion is very inefficient and may result
in as little as 5 % - 15 % of the fatty acids being actually metabolized.
Omega-6 fatty acids
When given to your dog as directed according to weight, Grizzly Salmon
Oil delivers approximately 50-300 milligrams of linoleic acid, the essential
omega-6 fatty acid. Other omega-6 fatty acids are present in only very
small amounts. These naturally-occurring acids are like a double-edged
sword. On one hand, linoleic acid is essential for your dog because it
cannot be produced by your dog's own metabolism. On the other hand, large
amounts of unbalanced omega-6 fatty acids have been proven to lead to
a higher risk of inflammatory diseases, arthritis stiffness and a weak
immune system.
How Grizzly Salmon Oil™ is produced
Grizzly Salmon Oil is gently extracted in a state-of-the-art production
plant that handles nothing but high-quality, salmon-based products. A
totally enclosed and continuous in-line extraction process ensures the
oil is kept away from air until it is pumped into your pet's food bowl!
The origin of Grizzly Salmon Oil™
Grizzly Salmon Oil is a value-added product originating from a co-production
with other salmon seafood products. This co-production is the basis for
Grizzly Salmon Oil's unique high quality and freshness - its extraction
enjoys the same high standards imposed by the seafood processing plant.
Grizzly Salmon Oil's source fish are wild Alaskan Salmon.
Bears
and other wild animals rely on salmon oil for sustenance and good health.
Gently extracted, wild Alaskan salmon oil delivers the right Omega- 3
fatty acids, known as EPA and DHA. These are the only Omega- 3 fatty acids
that are readily accessible for your dog's or cat's metabolism.

How
do I use Grizzly Salmon Oil™?
Grizzly Salmon Oil comes in a dispenser pump bottle for your ultimate
convenience. Simply pump on to your dog's food directly from the dispenser
bottle according to the weight chart on the label.
Grizzly
Salmon Oil has the scent of the ocean and the rich taste of fresh
fish, which most dogs and cats like right away. If your pet's diet
has been consistent for a long time, he or she might need to be
gradually introduced to the new taste. In this case, we recommend
that you use smaller amounts of Grizzly Salmon Oil over a period
of several days. Once acquainted with this new and natural taste,
you can expect your pet to exhibit a certain level of healthy addiction.

Grizzly Salmon oil is all-natural; it contains very
valuable and highly-reactive fatty acids from which your dog will benefit, and has a high content of natural, unaltered polyunsaturated
fatty acids like DHA and EPA. These highly-reactive fatty acids will be oxidized by the air. This results
in less valuable, partly-saturated fatty acids and you will notice that
the oil loses its fresh, pure scent over a couple of days. Therefore, it is recommended that you do
not put Grizzly Salmon Oil on more food than your cat or dog will eat
in a single feeding.
